In the afternoon of March 25, the launch conference of the Charles Huang Foundation Project was held in a meeting room on the first floor of the Administration Building of WHU. Attendees included Wu Ping, Vice President of WHU, Li Jiancheng, Vice President of WHU and Director of the WHU Education and Development Foundation and representatives from relevant faculties and departments, including the Economics and Management School, the Human Resources Department, the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, the Graduate School, the Undergraduate College, the Office of International Affairs, the Office of Campus Infrastructure Construction, etc. The conference was hosted by Deng Xiaomei, Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Wuhan University Education and Development Foundation, who introduced the background of the Charles Huang Foundation entrusted by Mao Weining, President of CHF. She also conveyed to the attendees the concern and expectation from the donor and reminded all parties to promote the implementation of the project in strict accordance with the donation agreement.
